Here's a quick metaphor: you have a blender in your kitchen, which you use to make smoothies. It's a cool looking blender: it's hip, it's streamlined, everyone wants one. It's also really easy to use: its got like two buttons, clearly marked and fun to push. Sometimes you want to make something in this blender even if you aren't hungry, because it's so much fun to put the fruit in and watch the blender do its thing. This is what your website should be like: hip yet practical, impressive yet easy-to-use, savvy yet simple. When I create websites, this is what I keep in mind. I want to make a web experience that gets your information and content across without forfeiting design. I want to make a website that delivers content effortlessly to the user, and looks good while doing it. Just like the two buttons on your blender, your users want your content at their fingertips, they don't want clutter, flashing lights, or excessive bells and whistles. At the same time, I know that Times New Roman on a white background just doesn't cut it anymore, so I create designs that are creative, original, and hip. See for yourself. I want the experience of your website to be exciting and easy for the user, but I also want it to be uncomplicated and worthwhile for you. Some web designers create a site and then walk away, leaving you without any tech support. Others restrict your access to your own site so that you have to pay them just to maintain the thing.
